As Regional Managing Partner, Walter leads BC’s largest and oldest professional services firm, operating with 1,450 people in 12 offices across the Province. Walter also serves on KPMG’s National Clients & Markets Committee, overseeing client service and market development across Canada, is part of KPMG’s National Digital Leadership Team responsible for internal and client-facing digital transformation, and helps lead KPMG’s Vancouver Ignition Centre, a disruptive innovation and design thinking lab dedicated to exponential technologies and business transformation. With a 30 year career at KPMG, Walter enjoys leading conversations with clients, business leaders and organizations on the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of digital transformation, business model disruption, and changing environmental, social and economic dimensions affecting businesses and their broader stakeholders.
Previously, Walter was KPMG’s Partner-in-Charge of Tax in GVA for nine years. Throughout his career, Walter has maintained an industry focus in real estate, advising developers, REITs, funds and syndications. In 2016, Walter was recognized as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA).

Grace is a registered interior designer and has over 25 years of experience. With a project portfolio that spans multiple market sectors Grace has a rich and diverse experience through her work as a Senior Interior Designer and Design Manger for international design firms such as Perkins+Will and HKS. Grace received her Bachelors of Design from the University of Florida and is a professional member of NCIDQ, IIDA and LEED BD+C.

Experienced in tech, HR and leadership operations, Rocky is one of Canada’s most passionate
advocates on the NoW of Work. He supports the notion that technology, a sharing economy and
the connected generation has dramatically changed the way companies attract, engage and retain
their people.
Rocky brings 10-years of executive HR and operations leadership in large enterprise organizations,
including 5-years of startup tech experience. He held the role of Vice-President and Head of
Corporate Innovation for the BC Tech Association before co-founding the NoW of Work Inc.
Take a Hike is a full-time mental health and well-being program empowering vulnerable youth to unlock their full potential and achieve success – however they define it. Partnering with public school districts, Take a Hike uses the outdoors and adventure to engage youth in experiential learning, intensive clinical counselling, and community. Since 2000, Take a Hike has supported hundreds of vulnerable youth to develop the skills and resilience they need to build healthy relationships, graduate high school, and navigate the challenges young adulthood.
David Hearn has been working in commercial real estate industry for over 36 years. Initially with one of Canada’s largest retailers, practiced commercial real estate for many years, and is currently the Real Estate Leader for EY, overseeing the real estate, design and construction across Canada and the East Region of the United States.
