Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland
Big Sisters of B.C. Lower Mainland, established in 1960, is a volunteer-based organization that recruits, trains and supports caring women who mentor at-risk girls, aged 7 to 17. Through their Big & Little Sister and Study Buddy programs, as well as other mentoring initiatives, they serve over 400 girls each year. Collectively, their volunteers give almost 100,000 volunteer hours annually. They rely on the invaluable support of a broad spectrum of individuals and organizations.
